Haden was a dedicated father, grandfather, and great grandfather and above all else treasured his time with family.
His civic engagements included: Board member of Goodwill Industries, Charter member and Past President of Melrose Civitan, and a long-time member of Dynamo Class of Belmont Heights Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Virginia Cooksey.
Survived by daughter, Emily Cooksey Berry (Bill) of Franklin, TN; son, Terrence H. Cooksey (Susan) of McKinney, TX; grandchildren, Terry H. Cooksey, Jr., Trish Barnard (Daren), Jennifer Winokur, Kevin M. Walsh, Scott Cooksey (Krissy) and Grant Cooksey (Leigh); 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Margaret West of Dickson, TN and Phoebe Swift of Cheyenne, WY; devoted niece, Gwen Hayes and nephew, Joe Wall and family; The Glidden Boys; staff and family of Brighton Gardens of 12 years; Guardian Hospice; and Blue Sky.
Funeral Service will be held at eleven-thirty in the morning on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Woodlawn with visitation two hours prior. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
