Mrs. Harriett N Thompson

Harriett Hazel Nesbitt Thompson, age 92. Mrs. Thompson was a native of Alabama and a resident of Nashville since 1970. Although she held leadership positions in many groups over the years and taught school and music, it was her love for the Lord that characterized her life. She delighted in teaching and writing studies from the Bible. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents Marie S. and Walter P. Nesbitt; her husband of 58 years, Ross H. Thompson; her sister-in-law Margaret Murdock (John); and her brother Wayne Nesbitt. She is survived by sister-in-law Sonya Nesbitt, son Steven R. Thompson of Manchester, MD (Chrissy); son David W. Thompson of Nashville (Gail); daughter Sally T. Preston of Houston, TX (Richard); four grandchildren: Rebecca Thompson, Daniel Thompson, Liza Thompson, and Tori Thompson; two nephews, and three nieces.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Senior Living Community (5031 Hillsboro Pike) with the Rev. James Bachmann presiding on Dec 13 at 1:30pm, followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
