Helen is survived by daughters, Diana Mercer (Jeff) and Teri Woodard (Ken); grandchildren, Michael; David; and Eric Elizer; Angela Mercer Groton and Chanda Mercer O'Guin; Brandy Woodard Gould and Kevin Scott Woodard; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
She had a passion for dancing, flowers, home decorating, and also enjoyed playing the piano.
A gathering of family and friends for Helen will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a celebration of life service at 11:30am.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Humane Society of Sumner County due to her love of animals.
