Herbert Charles Stockert, 81, passed away peacefully at his home, after a long illness, on August 13, 2016. Herbert was born and raised in Solen, ND. After high school he served in the Army, followed by work with Lear Siegler Ryder Truck Lines, and Ryder/PIE Nationwide.
In his free time, he enjoyed camping and traveling in his motor home. He was most passionate about woodworking in his shop with his scroll saw.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Carolyn Qualls Stockert, daughters Laura (Sean) Murphy, Tiffany (Robert) Reynolds, sister Deloris Whiteman, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
