Hester Mae Jenkins

Hester worked at Cross Keys Restaurant, Werthan Bag Factory and Harvey's until she married Leonard Jenkins. She had five children, Edward, Brenda, Mary, Stanley, and Donna.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Jenkins, son, Edward Jenkins; parents, Zarah and Lorene Teaney; brothers, Paul (Patsy) Teaney of Dayton, Ohio, and Robert J Teaney of Smyrna, Tennessee.

Hester is survived by Brenda (Larry) Jackson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Mary (Mitch) Nave of Fairview, Tennessee, Stanley (Erin) Jenkins of Smyrna, TN and Donna (Tommy) Dickson of Nashville, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.

They attended Vultee Church of Christ. She loved the lord very much. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

A gathering of family & friends for Hester will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, along with Friday, May 2, 2025 from 10:30 PM to 11:30 PM, at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A Celebration of Life will occur Friday, May 2, 2025 at 11:30 AM, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A graveside service will occur Friday, May 2, 2025 at 12:30 PM.
