Hilda was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba. She was one of three females in Medical School in Havana, Cuba in the late 1950’s.. After Medical School, Hilda began her Doctorate in Pedagogy. She married Carlo Gomes of Key West, Florida and relocated to Key West, Florida. She leaves behind twin daughters, Denice Quin-Gomes and Gipsy Williams, grandson, Miles Williams, and son-in-law, Tony Williams.
Hilda was a highly educated lady full of grace who welcome everyone into her heart and home. She saw the good in everyone and to Hilda there was always a silver lining around every cloud. This is what she taught her daughters to always be positive and to face life with open hearts and faith.
