Although I only knew Ms. Parker for a few months, she touched me as she no doubt touched everyone who was lucky enough to know her. Her smile, her sweet and generous spirit, and her enjoyment of and talent for making people laugh will stay with me for a long time. My thoughts are with her family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear about Ira. She was one of my COS Students at COA. I was always proud of her dedication to the Cosmetology field. She e-mailed me when she accepted her directions of working with Dolly Pardon, in the field. Again accept my condolences. Faye E, Hoffman

Ira was Dolly’s property manager and hired me in the late ‘90’s as an assistant. I learned a lot from Ira due to her great example of how to go above and beyond in many aspects. She loved her family and friends so much and wasn’t afraid to tout the name of Jesus. Rest In Peace, Ira.
