I am sorry to learn about Frank, an old friend from Ransom and a classmate at MBA. I remember Frankie's quick vitality. I remember him as a boy full of fun and talent and rich with decency.

My Deepest condolences… Frank was a real gentleman with a servant's heart. My business partner and I have always been so appreciative and complimentary of the way he conducted business and the way he showed concern and best wishes about our success. We really appreciated him. He will be missed.

My thoughts go out to all the family, and friends of Frankie Crowell. While we've not connected with each other for a long time, there is a close family relationship I've kept up with. Frankie was a very personable person ... had a smile that would make you like him before he said the first word. Frankie will be missed.

I worked with Frank in the hey-day of Ericson Marketing Communications (and his hey-day, too). Professional. Poised. Courteous. Kind. Great sense of humor (which we all needed). Frank will be missed.

Frank was one of our family's oldest and dearest friends. In the 39 years I knew him, I can only remember him smiling and engaging others in laughter with his quick wit. Moreover, I never felt as though I lived an "abbreviated life" until I marveled at the many photos and memorabilia which hang on his office walls... They are a testament to a life well-lived, full of memories and loving relationships.
Frank's "Hollywood voice" will ring forever in my memory.
We will all miss him greatly.

Frank was a great friend to the cast members of Gridiron and Gridiron Cabaret for all the years that he directed. Ever tolerant of all the shenanigans and egos, he somehow pulled the shows together and made each a rousing success. He lives in those happy memories.

As SPJ Gridiron Show director, Frank Crowell "made it happen" for area journalists and politicians. This annual spoof raised lots of money for journalism scholarships. One went to Gail Kerr of the Tennessean. Frank was a talented man and we were lucky to have him among us here in Nashville.
