DUNHAM, James M. age 95 January 14, 2013. The son of the late James and Edna Jones Dunham. Preceded in death by his wife Marian Youree Dunham ; sisters, Avis Ray and Agnes Dunham. Survived by his daughter, Candace Dunham; brother, Royce (Betty) Dunham; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Dunham retired Captain served in the U.S. Army during WWII where he received the Purple Heart with two Oak Leaf Clusters and a Silver Star. Mr. Dunham retired from Bell telephone after 40 years of service. He was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church, Civitan member and also the Telephone Pioneers. Funeral service will be conducted the afternoon of Thursday January 16, 2013 at one o’clock in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Dr. Carl Hoffman and Dr. Mike Mayo officiating. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Wednesday from two until six p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
