Mr. James Barney “Jim” Garner age 73, of Nashville, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Mr. Garner was born in Nashville, TN, on June 27, 1943, the son of the late Zol C. Garner and Vauda Moore Garner. He retired from Ford Glass Plant after serving thirty-four years of service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Garner was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori L. Garner and a brother, Jerry W. Garner, Sr. Survivors include a daughter, Teri C. Garner; a sister, Nancy C. Brown; Grandchildren, Jakob Holloway, Magen A. Garner, and Kristopher L. Garner; three great-children; and two nephews, Jerry W. Brown, Jr. and Jerry W. Garner, Jr. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017, at two thirty, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Wednesday from four o’clock until eight o’clock and Thursday one o’clock until two o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
