Pauline, Father Hall, as I remember, was also the priest at Holy Trinity in Nashville, TN. My grandfather was the priest there in the 1930's.His name was Father Elmer Morton Wright. What a beautiful church.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Father Hall. What a wonderful and gentle person he was. We remember him from St Timothy in Daytona Beach, Florida. My husband and I were newly weds and Father welcomed us warmly into the church family. We felt right at home in his presence. He christened our daughter, Cheryl Ann, and performed her marriage ceremony years later. What a lasting legacy for her. He was a man of great integrity. He will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. May he rest peacefully in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ.

Mrs Hall and Family, my prayers and condolences go out to you all during this difficult time. My heart is saddened to learn of his passing as I cared deeply for him and always thought about him.  I served as acolyte and lay reader under him at St Cyprians Church. Praying for strength and comfort.

Oh how my heart grieves the passing of Father James Hall. Father Hall baptised me when I was 2 months old at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Daytona Beach, Florida. About 40 plus years later Father Hall married me and my soulmate James Grier on October 8, 2005 @ 3:00pm at The Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta, Georgia. Oh what a blessing! I still remember the words of marriage wisdom Father Hall gave us. My heart is heavy today. But Our Savior has called him home. Well done Father Hall ...Well Done! Rest well now... Good Night Father.

May the soul of my gracious colleague  and a friend to me and my wife Donna rest in peace. A man of deep intelligence and gracious presence to all.

Dear Pauline, 
Tony and I are very saddened to hear of Father Hall's passing. He married us at St Cyprian's and we still often talk about the advice and tidbits he shared with us on how to have a successful marriage. We loved his sense of humor and his compassion. Praying that God will grant him eternal peace and give you and your family strength and comfort in the days ahead.

My husband said listening to Father Jim give a sermon was like hearing the voice of God. All of us at St. Paul's always looked forward to his inspirational and wise words. He truly had a life well lived.

Although I had not seen Fr. Hall since he served as interim pastor at St. Joseph of Arimathea in Hendersonville, he was never forgotten by me and many other parishioners..  He was truly a great priest who touched our lives immensely here at St. Joseph's. Please accept my sympathies at your great loss and know that God is opening his arms to receive him.

Thank you so much for sharing Fr. Hall with the world. He was a special person and a wonderful teacher. I learned so much about God and my faith, and how to be a better Christian and person from him.
