James Franklin Johnson, age 93, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021. James was born July 11, 1928 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late, Leo and Martha Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; brothers, Lawrence and Leon.
James is survived by his daughters Anne (Mike) Armstrong and Mary (Leighton) Bell, five grandchildren James (Erin) Hood, Emily Gary) Hundley, John(Lacey) Polich, Ashley (Alex) Burlison, Curtis Bell and seven great grandchildren, Carter Hood, Sophia Meece, Ava Polich, Ivee Polich, Bentley Burlison, Ana Burlison, and Romy Hundley.
James proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War.
A Graveside Service will be held at 9 am Friday, December 31, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
