James Allen Lind

James Allen Lind was born in Boone, Iowa to the late Edward and Delores Lind on May 11, 1951. He resided in Springfield, Tennessee. After illness, he was called home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2024. He was preceded in death by his Wife Glenda Lind, Sister Patty (Don) Becker, Brother Jack Lind and Brother Steve Lind.

He graduated from Two Rivers High School in Nashville, Tennessee.

He was married to the late Glenda Evelyn Lind on December 10, 1988, in Nashville, Tennessee.

James had a career for twenty-three years in Trucking Logistics for Venture Express.

James was a kind, caring, loving and selfless man. He was a good neighbor, taking care of some of their lawns as well as his own. He had a passion for his grandchildren, his beloved dog, the late Ginger, Nascar, and football.

He leaves to cherish his memory: three children, Mrs. Melissa (James) Mayo, Mrs. Tracey (Jeff) Whitson, Mrs. Melissa (Brian) Kees; grandchildren: Zach Link, Nicole Kees, Alex (Amanda) Smith, Elizabeth Link, Taylor Kees, Leslie Link, Zachary Mayo, Tabitha Link, Bailey Barchet; great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Smith, James Smith, Aiden Mayo, Aubrey Mayo and Audrey Mayo; Sister Linda (Charlie) Wilt, Brother Chuck (Carolyn) Lind; Sister In Law Linda Lind, Sister In Law Carla Lind, and Brother In Law Jerry Collins; and other relatives, friends, co-workers encountered over his seventy two years of life.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane Nashville, TN 37204 with a reception to follow.
