James Monroe Ratterree, age 79, of Nashville, TN passed on from this life on December 8, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Ann Ratterree; parents Virgil Monroe Ratterree and Ella Pauline Ratterree; and grandson Jonathan Andrew Bates.
He is survived by his four children, James Ratterree, Lacquita Clark (Tim), Anita Hatfield (Larry), and Juanita Osborne (Steve); two sisters, Linda Lynch and Carolyn Vaugh (Dickie); and twelve grandchildren, Michael Baldwin, James Ratterree, Richard Ratterree, Randell Reed, Gary Hatfield, Joshua Lambert, Matthew Ratterree, Jacob Hatfield, Steve Osborne III, Timothy Osborne, Jeremy Lambert, and Brooke Osborne; and five great-grandchildren, Shyann Ratterree, Eli Baldwin, Grace Lambert, Faith Lambert, and Allison Hatfield.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 12 from 4-8pm at Eastland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 13 at 9am at Eastland Funeral Home with the burial to follow at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
