Jane Williams Hiers, age 93, born to Benjamin W. and Mabel W. Williams passed away on November 2, 2020. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Miles Terry Hiers, Jr.; son, Miles Terry Hiers, III; and grandchildren, Brian Taylor Hiers and Alison Hiers Gates. Jane is survived by daughters, Terri J. Hiers and Jennifer Hiers-O’Connor of Nashville; great-grandchildren, Madison Martin, Barret Gates, and Knox Gates; and one brother, Judge John O. Williams of St. Simons, Georgia.
Jane attended public schools in Sumner County. She graduated from Stephens College in Columbia Missouri.
Funeral services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
