Jane Etauh Neal, age 86, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019. Born Thursday, March 9, 1933 in Nashville, Tennessee she is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Eunice Foster Law; husband, James Edward Neal; daughter-in-law, Sandra Hurt.

Mrs. Neal enjoyed church, antiques, primitives, loved music, to dance, go on long rides to shop be it in Kentucky or to Gatlinburg, she loved shopping.

She is survived by her children, Clyde Gilbert "Punkin" Hurt, Jr; Kim (Billy) Patterson, Tanya (Stephen) Jones; sister, Billie Adcock; grandchildren, Senoya Driskell, Jack Hurt, Steven Hurt, Billy Patterson, Jr., Chestina Patterson Serena Elkins; fourteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 11:00 Thursday, November 7, 2019 in the chapel of Eastland Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Donaldson officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers: Jackie Hurt, Steven Hurt, Michael Madden, Billy Patterson, Jr, Logan Denton, Jordan Welch.

Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Neal at a visitation Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 12:00 until 8:00 and Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 9:00 until 11:00 at Eastland Funeral Home 904 Gallatin Avenue Nashville, Tennessee 37206

i loved her from the 1st time we met..she always made me fell welcomed and my daughter who was only a few months old too..she loved us too. in a way only Etauh could. this is so hard and it hurts to know she is no longer here with Kim and Tanya..R.I.P. my sweet sweet friend,,,ill never forget you 💜💔

This is so, hard to take in. Etauh someone that you thought would always, be here It’s like losing my mom over again. It’s always been. Ed-Etauh and Chester And Elizabeth then Kim and Tanya - Pamela And Teresa. Pumpkin had went to the army. With Etauh wild as she could be. I’ll never forget. I’ll miss saying come on let’s ride over to Etauh’s because there all gone now she was the last of the 4. Good memories I have from a child till now as a adult Love you Etauh Neal it’s time to be with the rest of the Best loved ones in Heaven. Rest my Dear loved one life time friend Pamela.
