HAMILTON, Dr. Jay G. - Age 86 of Nashville, passed away on the 5th of July 2013. Preceded in death by his first wife and mother of their children, Sharlene "Squeaky" Hamilton. Survived by wife, Mary Ruth Hamilton; children, David Hamilton, Donna (Albert) Caum, Sharon (Nicky) Hooks, and Kenn (Sue) Hamilton; step-children, Joe Lehman, Cheryl McFarlane, Linda Romeo, and Royce Lehman, Jr.; six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jean Fair and Joan Jenkins. Dr. Hamilton owned Hamilton Animal Clinic and practiced veterinary medicine for 31 years, and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, the 7th of July 2013 at Hillwood Presbyterian Church at three o'clock in the afternoon with visitation held one hour prior. Private entombment on Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Hillwood Presbyterian Church.
