Jean Hart Jones

Jean Hart Jones age 81 was born in Chattanooga TN on March 26, 1936 and passed in Nashville on Dec. 22, 2017. Mrs. Jones was a long time member of Pennington Bend United Methodist Church. Jean graduated from Donelson High School and from Tennessee Tech. She was a school teacher at Hickman Elementary and Donelson Middle School. She was an avid golfer as a member of Old Hickory Country Club and a member of the NWGA. During her golf career she accomplished two hole in ones. She was long time resident of the Donelson community.

She was preceded in death by parents Louie and Arline Hart and brother Richard Edward Hart.

Survived by loving husband of fifty-four years Arthur Jones Jr. son and daughter-in-law Brad & Leigh Jones, grandchildren Allie Kate & Mary Bailey Jones, brother- in -law and sister- in-law Dr. Payne and Evelyn J. Hardison, niece Mary Katherine (Drew) Trapnell and nephew Dr. Mark (Ashley) Hardison.

Celebration of life will be held 1:30 pm Tuesday at Pennington Bend United Methodist Church with Rev Bud Alexander officiating. Interment to be held at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation Tuesday from 11 am until time of service.
