MOSES, Jean F., age 88 of Nashville, TN, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012. Mrs. Moses was the daughter of the late William T. and Jean S. Ferguson. She was born in Wishaw, Scotland and came to Nashville with her family at age 4. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Grant L. Moses, Mrs. Moses is survived by her daughters, Christie Moses (Doug) Tweed and Elizabeth Moses (Joe) Mahowald; son, Lee Moses; grandchildren, Jennifer Morlock, Jessica Williams, Molly and Patrick Mahowald; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Mia Morlock and Elijah Williams; and special niece, Cathie Breeding. A 1942 graduate of West End High School, Mrs. Moses was a former secretary at Equitable Securities, Trinity Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Board of World Missions, and downtown YMCA. She retired after 16 years of service from Fleet Transport Company. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 12th, in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall, with Pastor Doug Tweed officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Franklin, TN. Visitation with the family 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 11th and Noon – 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 12th.
