Jean was a real estate agent in the greater Nashville area for many years, however, her passions were being a meticulous homemaker, outstanding cook, loving mother and eventually an adored grandmother. Jean was also a faithful Christian and a member of Woodmont Baptist Church. She was a true southern lady and treasured her many friends both at church and at the Leah Rose Residence where she lived.
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved brother Tom Gibson. She is survived by her sons Jim (Vicki) Piland of Johnson City, TN and Tom (Jo) Piland of Franklin, TN; daughter Vicki (Browning) Holland of Suwanee, GA; grandsons Bo, Chase and Seth Holland; several nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be a gathering of friends and family from 1-2 pm with a Memorial Service at 2 pm on Saturday, April 21 at Woodlawn's Southside Mausoleum located at 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville TN 37204.
