Age 84, July 12, 2013. Born in Nashville, TN to the late Arthur Lee and Ida Mai Felts. Preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Stinson. She is survived by her five children: Terry (Frances) Stinson, Butch (Angela) Stinson, Denise (Steve) Smith, Phil (Lisa) Stinson and Kevin (Mimi) Stinson as well as 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She graduated from Cohn High School in 1947 where she made the All NIL Girl’s Basketball Team as well as being voted homecoming queen and cheerleader captain. Funeral Services will be held at Hillsboro Church of Christ on Tuesday, July 16th at 10 am with internment immediately following at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, July 15th from 4 pm to 8 pm at Hillsboro Church of Christ and one hour prior to the funeral service. Active pallbearers will be her six grandsons. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Agape Nashville or The Homer Carlton Stinson Scholarship Fund at Lipscomb University.
