Jane and Jenny--I was out of town when Jeff passed away and I am so sorry I did not get to see you or attend Jeff's funeral. I really do not have adequate words to convey how much Jeff meant to me and to my father. We were very close masonic brothers and he was truly a genuine friend. The memories of his days with all of us in the First
American family run deep and I will miss greatly knowing he is around. I will be thinking of you during these difficult days.
Sincerely,
Buddy Benedict

I worked for Jeff for many years at First American Bank in Knoxville. He was a wonderful mentor and friend. Our family treasured our time in Knoxville knowing Jeff and his family. Our condolences to Jane, Jeff Jr, Jay and Jenny. We will always remember him.

We are thankful we had the opportunity to know Jeff. He was very kind and thoughtful. We always enjoyed his company at the Wednesday night sing-a-longs. Our prayers are with the family.

Jeff Dyer to me was a humble man who was liked by anyone who got to know him. He always seemed to know what to say to help resolve people life problems and issues in his many leadership roles in life. He will be missed by many and not forgotten. His soul now knows the wonderdul love of God and is at peace in Heaven. May God continue to bless his wife Jane and all other members of his family.
