Jeff is survived by his wife, Karin; parents, Dan and Nancy; sisters, Lisa Solon (Dean), Linda Gunter (Mike); brother, Michael (Meagan); and ten nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Snoopy and Belle.
Jeff was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Evansville, where he attended Mater Dei High School. He graduated from Western Kentucky University, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He met Karin while working at Mariah’s Restaurant in Bowling Green, KY. They were married in 1995 and lived in Nashville. Most recently, Jeff worked at Pomeroy IT Solutions. This year, he was awarded the Pomeroy Way Award for his exemplary dedication and hard work.
Jeff was a marathoner, avid cyclist and accomplished baker. He was known for his Christmas cookies. Although he had an analytical mind, he very much appreciated artistic endeavors and had an eclectic circle of friends. He will be most remembered as a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend.
Visitation will be held at Marshall Donnelly Combs from 5 to 8pm on Sunday, October 20. Memorial mass will be at The Cathedral of the Incarnation on Monday, October 21 at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for Nashville Rescue Mission.
