Preceded in death by his parents, Andy F. and Haizle D. Glaus; brothers, Andy J. Glaus and Robert (Bob) Glaus; his sister, Helen Morgan; and his first wife, Martha Glaus.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn L. Glaus; his stepchildren, Brian Scott Bills (and Elizabeth), Cheryl Hatchett (and Keith) of Bell Buckle, Frederick W. Cook, Jr. (and Dori) of Spring Hill, Richard L. Cook (and Carmen) of Smyrna, Thomas E. Cook (and Terry) of Libby, MT and John D. Cook (and Lauren) of Mt. Juliet. Mr. Glaus has 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Glaus was a member of the United States Army, from 1951 to 1953. He was a lifelong resident of Nashville and a custom residential homebuilder and contractor. He loved football and was a fan of the Tennessee Titans and the Tennessee Volunteers.
Gathering of family and friends will take place on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, from six o'clock to eight o'clock in the evening at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at one o'clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall.
