Jerry Len Jamison, 61, passed away on September 14, 2026. Born on August 27, 1965, Jerry was a longtime resident of Old Hickory, Tennessee, and will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew him.
Jerry retired from Metro Water Services, closing a chapter of steady work and commitment. Beyond his career, he found joy in the things that made life feel full—especially rock and roll music, which remained a constant source of enjoyment. His generous spirit was evident in the care he gave to those closest to him, and in the quiet ways he showed up for the people and companions who depended on him.
Those who shared life with Jerry knew a loving and caring husband, father, and son. He also held a special place in his heart for his beloved pets: his cats, Momo and Sugar Foot, and his dog, Della.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Melody Kaye Jamison; his mother, Lella Mae Jamison; his sister, Virginia Frances Jamison; and his son, Casey Ryan Jamison. Friend, Derrick Walker Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Edgar Jamison.
Visitation will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home, on Monday September 21, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same location on September 21, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
