

Jimmy W. Crussell of Antioch, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Southern Hills Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to his parents, Lois and Avery Crussell, he is preceded in death by his sister Jane Stout. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Pat Ortiz Crussell; daughter and her husband Suzanne and Brad Christman of Smyrna, Tennessee, daughter and husband Mary and Kelly Slow of White House, Tennessee, daughter Dawn, son Andy,and son Bradley; grandchildren, Tommy, Tristan, Shawn, Joshua, Alexandria, Bailey, Taylor and Jace; great grandaughter Aurelia; brother-in-law Homer Stout as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and especially honorary family member, Willie Waterston. He was born September 26, 1951 in Bristol, Virginia. He grew up in Piney Flats, Tennessee and graduated from Sullivan East High School. He was a veteran of the National Guard. He enjoyed working with his hands, as a carpenter and builder with his father and brother-in-law at Crussell & Stout Builders. Hunting and fishing were his love and pastime. He worked in various capacities in the Nascar auto racing industry. Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at two-thirty in the afternoon, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Gathering of family and friends will be two hours prior to the service on Saturday at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN. There will also be a memorial service held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at five o’clock in Piney Flats, TN at the Enterprise United Methodist Church.
