Jo Ann “Jo” Hardin, of Nashville, passed away the morning of Friday, September 9, 2011. Mrs. Hardin was the daughter of the late J.B. and Ruth Williams Hawkins. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dr. Robert A. Hardin; her children, Tom (Lisa) Hardin, Jack (Joanie) Hardin, Bill (Lisa) Hardin and Katie (Bryan) Honaker; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 o’clock the morning of Monday, September 12, 2011 at First Church of The Nazarene. Mrs. Hardin was a longtime member of First Church of The Nazarene and a graduate of the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother and grandmother. In lieu of customary tributes, memorials may be made to the Baptist Hospital Foundation. Family and friends will gather to remember “Jo” from 3 o’clock till 7 o’clock the afternoon of Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and from 10 o’clock until service time at the church of Monday morning.under the direction of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
