I remember when I used to come over to have lunch with Paw Paw. He would tell me incredible stories of his younger years in Donelson, picking something with his brother by the train tracks. He was such a great man & I am honored to know him & thankful for his service. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Biggs family during this tough time. XoXo

I remember coming to nashville to see the Opry and my dad J.R Davis wanted to come see
Joe B so we called and took my dad by there and Ruby had fixed lunches for us all. After talking a while my husband, and I took my son and nephew and went up on music row. Dad stayed to visit with Joe and Ruby. Later that night we went to the Opry ,But visited Joe the next day before heading home to Ga. My dad and Joe were cousins.

Although I never met Mr. Davis in person I knew him through his Granddaughters Tina Stickney and Christine Gallegos as Papaw.
Papaw lived an eventful long life. He served our country in World War II. His service was documented on several TV channels around Memoria Day and his birthday.
My love and sympathy goes out to his family at this time. May you find comfort in knowing that he is at peace after a life well lived.
