

LANNOM, III, Joe E. - Age 73 of Nashville, passed away May 30, 2012. Preceded in death by father and mother, Joe E. Lannom, Jr. and Grace Jenkins Lannom; and sister, Rebecca Lannom Lamb. Survived by loving wife of 54 years, Dorothy Jean Fitts Lannom; sons, Joe E. (Mary) Lannom, IV, Steven Thomas Lannom, and Paul Brian (Elishia) Lannom; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Davenport and Theresa Rasmussen; and many more loving family members and friends. Joe proudly served as a 32nd Degree KCCH Scottish Rite/Royal Arch Mason; and was a three-time past master of Cumberland Lodge #8 F&AM. He brought joy to children with his fun-loving spirit as “Tinker”, the Al Menah Shrine clown. He was a dedicated employee as he served for 37 years with Metro Public Works. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:30 a.m., June 6, 20012 at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. with a Masonic service being held at 7 p.m. that evening, and again from 10 a.m. up until service time on Wednesday. Interment to follow in the Garden of Moses at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as Active Pallbearers. The Honorary Pallbearers will consist of fellow members of Cumberland Lodge #8 and fellow Al Menah Shrine Clowns.
