The Harwell’s are like family to us. We saw John Junior grow up and become the fine man he is. Reba began her real estate career with both Mr. F A. John senior, as well as John Junior.
We spent time with then in Florida at their condominium. John and I played tennis together as partners with the Donelson Y tennis team.
Our hearts sorrow at John Harwell’s passing, but we do not despair because he is now in the presence of the Lord where there are no tears, pain, or sadness.

Johnny was daddy’s best friend and a dear friend of each of ours! I remember him from the time I was a little girl on a cruiser boat that our families owned together! He was always so easy going and always in a good mood! He would call and check on my parents in their elder years. He cared deeply about his friends and I will always carry a part of him in my heart! What a precious man!! ❤️

John was my Dad’s best friend . They grew up together and I think were in each others weddings
John was a fine loyal Christian friend . He taught me photography, gave us our first horse, was partners with dad in several boats, gave me my first job at Baker Harwell and always supported me in the banking business..
No one knows this but when I was 3-4 years old I fell off a boat dock into freezing water and was in shock until the strong hand of the Lord in the form of John Harwell saved my life
Thanks for your influence on my life.
RIP, Larry
