John H Herman

John H. Herman age 89 of Franklin, TN a loving Husband, Daddy and Papa departed this life on September 17, 2017. Preceded in death by his loving wife Billie S. Herman; parents, Whitlock and Bertha Herman and eight brothers and sisters.

He is survived by son, Harold (Debbie) Herman; daughter, Debbie (Don) Kennedy; grandchildren, Donnie (Amber) Kennedy, Daniel Kennedy, Adam (Marissa) Stroube, Holly (Travis) Stubblefield. Great grandchildren, Grayson and Rylan Kennedy, Elissa, Brandon, Lyla Stroube, Drake and Paxton Stubblefield.

John served his country with four years of service in the U.S. Air Force. A special thanks to Dr. Edward Cherney and the Vanderbilt Eye Institute.

Active pallbearers include, Donnie Kennedy, Daniel Kennedy, Adam Stroube, Travis Stubblefield, JD Swan and Steve Bass. Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Service will be conducted by Dr. Gene Mims, Dr. Raymond Langlois and Ernest Standerfer on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at one o’clock in the afternoon, Judson Baptist Church.

Gathering of family and friends for visitation will be on Tuesday from five until nine, Wednesday from eleven until two and five until nine, and Thursday from ten o’clock in the morning until the service at one o’clock at Judson Baptist Church. Interment to follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
