John was born Wednesday, April 24, 1974, in Nashville, TN and resided in Hendersonville, TN. He enjoyed spending his work life completing custom tile creations. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Brooke Ivanits. His children Jonathan, Kayla, and Trevor Ivanits and 7 grandchildren. His siblings Thomas Judson Morel, Steven Able Morel, Allen Joseph Morel, Monty Jay Morel, and Becky Morel-Moore. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Steven Ivanits III and Martha Eldred Ivanits. Siblings Amy Morel-Lakins, and Elizabeth Marie Mogg.
John will be remembered as a positive and uplifting father, loving husband, and a wonderful “Paw-Paw”. He will always be remembered for his love of Steelers football, his funny jokes, and his ability to make something out of nothing. He always brought smiles with his impersonations and his go-to sayings. He will be greatly missed by many friends and loving family.
In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Fund will be set up through Becky Cassanova for Venmo payments or a deposit may be made at any First Horizon Bank location under Jonathan Ivanits.
Service Arrangements:
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2nd, at The Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Goodlettsville, TN. Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with procession to burial to in Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, White House, TN. A celebration of life cookout will be held at the home of Jonathan and Rachel Ivanits in Cottontown, TN following the burial service.
