John Kitchens, age 70, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 peacefully in his sleep after many years of illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Kitchens, Sr. and Buna Edney; and son, Johnny Kitchen. He is survived by loving wife of 30 years, Debbie Kitchens; one surviving aunt; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and devoted pets Tillie and Penny. John was a 32nd degree mason for many years with the Centre Star Lodge #409. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00am in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
