John Thomas “JT” Shelby, Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on August 15, 2017. He is preceded in death by his wife, Julia Faye Shelby. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Moore; son, John (Carrie) Shelby; and grandchildren, Taylor, Colin, Courtney, and Sarah. He served in the U. S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was very loved and will be greatly missed by many. Family and friends will gather at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home for visitation on Thursday, August 17, and Friday, August 18, from four to eight o’clock in the evening. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 19, at eleven o’clock in the morning with visitation two hours prior.
