He is survived by his wife, Diane Reed; son, Sam Reed; step-daughter, Michele (David) Webb; step-son, Corey (Melody) Cain; brothers, Donnie and Hardy Reed; grandchildren, Caleb, Bennett and Emmy Beth Cain; locally, he leaves sister-in-law, Beverly (Ferrel) Forsythe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Alice Taylor Reed.
Graveside services will be held 11:00AM on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Eddy Creek Church Cemetery with Ferrel Forsythe and Corey Cain officiating.
