Joseph David Farinella

FARINELLA, Joseph David (Joe) Age 90, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA., died peacefully Saturday, Dec.24, 2011, in Mary Queen of Angels Assisted Living Community. Joe was born in Rocky River, Ohio on March 10, 1921. In 1954. He married his beautiful late wife of more than 50 years, Evelyn Marie Butera, together they raised 7 children in Scott Twp., PA. also preceded in death by son David Farinella. Mr. Farinella founded and successfully operated Residential Realty in Bridgeville, PA before retiring and moving to Nashville, TN. Joe was a loving son, husband and father and will be missed by his loving family, which includes his 3 daughters, Mary Jo Howland of Nashville, TN., Nancy Helen Kapuza of Boston, MA., Diane Wright of Raliegh, NC and his 3 sons, Christopher Farinella of Greenville, SC., Robert Farinella of Atlanta, GA and John Joseph Farinella of Knoxville, TN., as well as his 18 loving grand children. Joe was a great lover of music and was proud of his prized vinyl collection he listened to Glen Miller and Duke Ellington on the day he passed. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Mary Queen of Angels Chapel, 30 White Bridge Rd. with visitation from 11:30 until service time in the Chapel. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home, Nashville, Tennessee.
