A native of West Monroe, Louisiana he will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Scott Sanford, his sister, Melissa Stamper and brother-in-law, William V. Stamper III. Joe will also be fondly remembered by his extended family and numerous friends and co-workers. He is preceded in death by his father, James E. Phillips, his mother, Beverly Spurgeon Phillips and his sister, Suzanne Marie Phillips.
A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN.
