Joseph George Pugh

PUGH, Joseph George Age 92 of Donelson, TN, passed away April 9, 2012. Mr. Pugh was a decorated WWII Veteran, retiring from the Air Force after 20 years of service, and then starting a second career with the American Red Cross on Charlotte, including serving 1 year in Vietnam. He was a member of the Donelson Church of Christ, Two Rivers Golf Course and Middle Tennessee Seniors Golf Association. Preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Pugh. Survived by his wife, Katie Pugh; daughter, Joanna Grant; sons, Sam (Betty), Jim (Sherry) and Ben Pugh; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a host of other family and friends. A funeral service will be held 12 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Donelson Church of Christ, with Bro. Russell King officiating. Burial will follow in the Nashville National Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, and from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church on Thursday.
