Billy & Family, Our condolences to you and your family. Joe was a special person and I am thankful for all the many memories I have of both of you. We greatly appreciated his serving on our advisory committee when George & I were National Retiree Directors. There are so many other great memories we have over the years while camping with NCHA/FCRV. We know that those who had a chance to meet Joe will dearly miss him. He always kept us laughing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very sad and difficult time. . We will always cherish our memories. God Bless. Joan Murray Micelli and Richard Micelli

He was a good friend and neighbor for 20 years, and it has been hard to find the right words to express the loss of someone so dear, someone so loved. Joseph Vasut was an inspiration [to so many], and when I think about the character and tenacity of this amazing man, simply saying that he will be missed would be an understatement.

To The Family: thank you for sharing the wonderful family photos with us - it was such a joy being able to walk thru time and witness some of your cherished family moments. May God bless and keep you all!

"Goodnight" dear Joseph ...Goodnight and God bless!

From the first day I met Joe in 1977 when we moved to Nashville for Pat’s job, Joe was a dear friend, Priest Lake Drive neighbor, FDA family. His basement dig , orange VW Beetle, camping adventures were all Joe stories we treasure. When Pat’s plane was missing in 1990 Joe was one of those friends FDA sent to tell me and he was there every day for my family. He was so special to us all. No better friend. We will miss his smiles and stories.
