Joseph "Trey" Thomas Whitehead III

Trey is survived by his daughter, Joanna; mother of his daughter, Sarah Fitzwater; mother, Karin Timmons Whitehead; brother, Adam Whitehead (Susan); niece, Charlotte Whitehead; and multiple cousins, aunts, and uncles. Trey is predeceased by his father, Joseph Whitehead, Jr.; brother, Scott Thomas Whitehead; and grandparents, Betsy and Hugh Timmons, and Francis and Joe Whitehead.

Trey was born May 18, 1980. He graduated from Nashville Academy in 1999. His daughter, Joanna, was the light of his life and a true reflection of his love. He left the best part of himself on earth, which is Joanna.

Trey was a kind and sensitive soul who touched the lives of many. His passion for Tennessee football was a testament to his spirited nature and a shared joy he enjoyed with family and friends. He leaves behind cherished memories that will forever remind us of his warmth, kindness, and dedication to those he loved. Trey’s legacy will continue through Joanna and the countless lives he impacted. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in our hearts.

Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, February 11, at 11:00am, at St. Henry Catholic Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 11, from 9:00am until the hour of service, at the church.
