Joyce Higgins Henderson

Joyce Higgins Henderson passed away June 15th, 2026, leaving behind a fully lived life filled with warmth, adventure, style, and a deep love for family and friends. She had a spirit that loved to explore and would be found at the beach whenever she could get there.

Joyce believed that every occasion deserved a thoughtful outfit, perfect accessories, and a welcoming smile. Whether attending a celebration, a gathering with loved ones, or simply enjoying life, she carried herself with confidence, personality, and style.

Above all, Joyce cherished family and for many years opened her home and heart by hosting holiday meals that brought loved ones together. She treasured time spent together and created memories that will continue to live on in all of us.

She will be remembered for her welcoming spirit, her love for family and friends, and the way she made people feel wanted and celebrated.

Joyce is survived by her brother, Kenneth Higgins, her sister, Karen Higgins, and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her faithful furry companion, Gidget.

She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Charles and Nettie Higgins, and brothers, Richard and Terry Higgins.

A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204 on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:30 am.
