SAWYER, Joyce A., age 66, passed away on January 21st, 2012. She was born on September 17th, 1945 to the late, Walter & Wilma (Cundiff) Holland. She worked as a crossing guard for Metro Public Schools and was a member of the First Apostolic Church, Nashville, TN. She is survived by her husband of over forty years, Emmett Sawyer; daughters: Emily Sawyer & Michelle (Terry) Harper; Brothers, J.T. Holland, Melvin Holland, Vernon Holland, Gary Holland and Larry Holland; Sister, Evelyn Simmons; a host of neices and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 24th 2012 at the First Apostolic Church, 365 Broadmor Drive, Nashville TN with Bishop Bill Shoulders and Pastor D.J. Shoulders Officiating, Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friend from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, January 23rd, 2012 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
