June Carlson Pearson

June Carlson Pearson age 95 Loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on March 18th 2017 in Nashville TN. Born in Spokane WA, the daughter of Gladys and George Carlson. Raised in Jacksonville FL, moved to Nashville after her marriage. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Dr. Charles F. Pearson and her sister Ferese Summerhill of Gainesville FL. Survived by her children; Thomas F. Pearson, Linda P. Crookes, grandchildren; Tony Piazza (Beth), Andrew Crookes, Scott Pearson ( Jennifer), Christopher A. Pearson, Evelyn P. Thornhill ( Matthew) and great grandchildren; Henry Pearson and Esther Thornhill. The family wishes to thank Dr. Charles Daniels, the staff at the Meadows and Avalon Hospice for the care they provided. In addition, a special thanks to the members (past and present) of JGP Artists for the friendship, fun and creativity they shared over the years. Visitation will be at 10:30 AM Friday, March, 24th followed by the service at 11:30 AM at St. George’s Episcopal Church 4715 Harding Road, Nashville TN 37205. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
