She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Sally and Elmer Breitenfeldt, maternal grandparents, and father Larry Breitenfeldt.
She is survived by mother, Marie Breitenfeldt, sister C. Tamra Jackson (August), brother Kurt Breitenfeldt (Regina). Nieces, Alexis Jackson, Elizabeth Jackson, Olivia Breitenfeldt, Rosie Brown, and nephew, Jake Brown. Great niece Illyria Jackson.
She is further survived by dear friend and second mother Francine Glynn and Francine's granddaughter, Taliyah Glynn who she had been mothering since 2018 and hoped to adopt if the need ever arose.
Kate was a creative and through her artistic abilities could always envision the greatest design. Kate loved working with flowers and gardening, her driveway begins with her favorite color of purple, which is further explains her creative and ambitious nature. Her generous and loving spirit was showcased every year during the holidays, with elaborate decorations. Kate was once featured locally for her Christmas Display.
Kate was an explorer, as she loved being in the outdoors and to go camping. She was talented at Interior Design and Building, enjoyed reading and was an animal lover. Her fur babies were her children:
Kate was a peaceful loving person, who never met a stranger. She previously served as a Office Manager at ServPro in Nashville for over 14 years. She further worked with the same enthusiasm for Automation NTH for the last couple of years of her life.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held from five until eight in the evening on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at one o'clock on Wednesday August 4, 2021 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with a Gathering of Family and Friends to be held one hour prior.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Nashville Humane Society, The American Cancer Society or Habitat for Humanity in Kate's honor.
