Kathryn Binkley

Kathryn Louise Adams Binkley, aka “Mymamma”, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025. She was born in Nashville TN on November 27th, 1937 to R.C and Hazel Adams. She graduated from David Lipscomb High School in 1956. She had two sons, Bayron and Blair, of whom she loved dearly. She began her career working in a Veterinary office in Green Hills. She then worked in the Hotel Industry, as a hospitality manager and event coordinator. It was during this time where she moved to Bermuda, and then to Tulsa, Oklahoma. After some time in the Hotel realm,and after a stint living in the Destin, Florida area, she moved back to Nashville. It was during this time that she got her real estate license. She spent numerous years as a top producer in the local real estate industry. She was recognized by many of her peers as a diligent worker, as well as a force to be reckoned with. Everytime she entered a room, you knew she was there. Upon retirement, she spent her time with her mother and best friend, “Great Hazel”. Kathryn got great joy in doting on and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kathryn was renowned for her generosity, love, ornate taste, personality, and her famous back scratches. She loved life, and had a contagious personality that brightened up the darkest of days for many.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents R.C and Hazel Adams, and daughter in-law Patricia (Wisha) Binkley. She is survived by her sons Bayron and Blair, her brother Glenn (Beverly), nephew Roby (Carrie), grandsons David, Chris (Lauren), Dale (Allison), Adam, Eric, great grandchildren Beau,Tilman, Rowan, Burton, Ryan, Banks, along with many dearly loved cousins and extended family members.

A gathering of family & friends for Kathryn will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
