Born January 4, 1976, in Nashville, Tennessee, Kathryn was the daughter of Pamela S. Hamm and Edward Criddle Scruggs IV.
On August 5, 2011, she was married in Montego Bay, Jamaica, to Brian Feldmeier. In the years that followed, Kathryn devoted herself primarily to her role as a stay-at-home mother, a calling she carried with steady care and deep purpose. Her love for her family was evident in the way she showed up each day—with patience, warmth, and a thoughtful attentiveness that made others feel seen and supported. Kathryn’s inquisitive spirit also shone through in her enjoyment of learning about the world around her, always drawn to understanding more and noticing the details that others might overlook.
In addition to her husband Kathryn is survived by; her son, Grant Feldmeier; and her daughter, Margo Feldmeier.
Services will be held November 14, 2026, from 3–6 p.m. at Marshall Donnelly Combs funeral home.
