Kimberly Faulkner Leisure 53, of Nashville passed away on October 14, 2020.

Kimberly was born on December 3, 1966 in Nashville, the daughter of Thomas Clay Faulkner and Michael (Mickey) Louise Miller Faulkner. She married Church Leisure on May 13, 1989, and they spent 31 wonderful years together.

Surviving is her husband, Chuck; daughter, Carolyn Leisure; son, Alex Leisure; father, Clay Faulkner; and sisters, Terri and Tricia.

Preceding her in death is her mother, Mickey Faulkner; and son Michael Thomas Faulkner.

Kimberly was a graduate of UT Knoxville School of Nursing, and she worked for Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

A loving and giving person, Kimberly would do anything for anyone. She gave her love, time, and her spirit to anyone in need and those she surrounded herself with.

Kimberly enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking, and traveling as much as she could. However, her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family and extended family, and the many babies she had the honor to care for at the hospital.

Cremation rights have been accorded by Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Dear Chuck, Mickey and Alex,
We are so very sorry for your loss.
We love you all very much. You are in our prayers and we will be here to support you in any and all ways.
Kim was my very BEST FRIEND.
I loved her deeply.
Every time we were together she ALWAYS had the
most beautiful things to say about her husband and children. She loved her family and she was so proud of you all. She had a kindness and a gentleness that was Christlike. She was so very compassionate and loving.
She used her gifts to make a difference in the world. She was a light in the darkness and she made the world is a better place.
I'm so proud to have had her in my life.
Mickey and Alex, you both have beautiful souls just like your Mom.
She is in Heaven.
