I wanted to reach out to you and let you know that I had the pleasure of meeting your son in April . He came to our home to work on a school project with my daughter Ellie Wurst . Ellie enjoyed being in class with him , studying and working on projects with him . He was so kind , and left a lasting impression on our family . We are heartbroken over this loss . I want you to know that his life mattered to so many people and we think of him and your family often . I’m praying for your family everyday . We will always remember what a fine young man he was and we are  blessed to have known him . May God bring healing and peace to you .

Konstantinos, you were such a light in this world. I still remember the first time I met you, freshmen year, and it felt as though we immediately clicked. It felt like I had talked to you my whole life, and we quickly got to know each other much better. You had a smile that could light up a room, and laughter that was so contagious even from down the hallway. I remember being so surprised at how easily you could talk to anyone about anything. You were always more than willing to help others, and you never failed to make me laugh. And though I didn’t understand, I knew you had an enormous love for math and I knew you would go on to be extremely successful in life. You had such a beautiful soul and gorgeous eyes, though you never believed me. I am so thankful that I got the chance to know you and I’m beyond sad I never got to see what you would have become. I can say that those who were lucky enough to be touched by your soul will never forget the lasting impact you’ve had on them. And I will never forget how positively you’ve impacted my life. I care about you so much and I miss you dearly.

Konstantinos, I didn’t know you that well but honestly after reading these messages, I wish I did. It’s so obvious how your spirit has touched all of us. I knew you mainly from our engineering class, especially last semester when we were in a group together. We were Team Ryan Reynolds, name obviously courtesy of you. And I remember the task being so hard to get through but our project was one of the only ones that worked! I was so proud of us because at the beginning it was so hard to work together as essentially strangers but by the end of it, we felt like an actual team! I remember loving your sense of humor, your leadership, and being in awe of just how smart you were as we worked together. The last conversation I had with you was on Friday when you were consoling our friend who had just gotten a bad grade on her test and was extremely worried about the future. In this conversation, I saw a maturity and sincere kindness in you that I had never seen before. I could tell how deeply you cared for her and I found that so admirable. I miss your presence in that class; your funny (though off-topic) jokes, your bright voice, your leather jacket that you wore almost every single day - all of it. You could have made a big impact on the world as a great engineer, but you still made a great impact on all of us. I’m sad you won’t be graduating with us but your spirit will carry on in the Brentwood class of 2022. Rest in peace<3

Since moving here sophomore year, I would see a reoccurring smiling face pass through the hallways. Getting to know this radiant being Senior year, I was lucky enough to share the same next steps of going to Purdue with Konstantinos. Unlike me, he was going for engineering-the most competitive and respected major at Purdue- and did not believe me when I told him he was one of the smartest people I had ever met. Though we both had no idea where we were going at a point, we would consistently check in with each other to see if we would become boilermakers. I remember his face when he told me he committed, he was so excited and right then I knew he would change the world. He was just so humble and genuine. Every day before 6th period, he was usually finishing a conversation with a couple friends before he headed to class, and even though he came in our class to talk to his friends, he managed to always reach out to other people to see how their day was and really listened. He had a brilliant mind, beautiful heart, and such a bright future. Though the time he spent in this world was too short, he changed the lives of so many family members, friends, teachers, and peers. It breaks me to not be able to see what he could have been or see his dream come to life, but I see him in the beauty that remains and hear him in laughter all around. He truly was one in a million, his memory will stay alive and his gentle spirit will always dance through the hearts of the lives he touched. Konstantinos, you changed the world. I will try to radiate like you in the days to come, thank you for inspiring so many, you are truly missed.

Dear Konstantinos, 
the first time I met you was on the bus home from middle school. I remember the first thing I asked you was if you still believed in Greek mythology. You laughed and told me that it’s called mythology for a reason :) After that, we got closer when you sat next to me in Physics 1 and became my lab partner. I still remember being so confused as to how I studied ten hours more than you and still got a lower score than you did without even studying …you constantly amazed me with how naturally intelligent you were. I’m so thankful that once again, this year, I got to talk to you almost everyday in Calculus BC. You contributed so much to our class discussions and would even teach me how to do problems that I had trouble understanding. I truly believe that if you hadn’t been taken away so soon,  you would’ve won a Nobel Prize one day :) You were one of the kindest, sharpest, and brightest people I’ve ever met. I’m grateful to have known you over the years and the light that your presence brought to everyone every day.

The image of a three-year-old you running at your backyard in Belmont chasing a balloon and screaming “μπά´για! μπά’για!” has stayed with us all these years, and will forever remain in our hearts. Καλό παράδεισο αγόρι μου. 

Konstantinos was such a constant in my life that I will never forget. I have known him since 8th grade, just from random classes together, but he has touched my life forever. This year we had engineering together, where we would constantly challenge each other, joke, and just have such a fun time. He has always been such a kind spirit, and was always there to help me when I needed it. He was hard-working, funny, and incredibly kind. I will forever miss seeing him in his amazing leather jacket as well.  I will miss him so so much, but I will carry his memory with me for the rest of my life.

Dear Margaret and Yiorgos, we wanted to send our deepest condolences and prayers on this great loss to your family. We are at a loss of words and I hope you find peace and comfort in cherishing the fond memories of your son and that we are all thinking of you at this very difficult time of your lives. An anecdote that we remember is when, after almost a year  of car pooling, realized that they had the same birthday, they were really surprised and exited about that. It's been a very long time since Rochester.
I just saw the FB posting and link about your son, Konstantinos. The messages from others here show he was known and loved by many.  My heartfelt condolences.

I had the pleasure of meeting the Kostoulas twins during my last year at Brentwood High School. I shared 1st period with Myrsine in Theatre Production and 8th period with Konstantinos in AP Language. I won’t pretend that I knew Konstantinos well, for I have since graduated and gone off to college. But I will never forget the afternoons that I spent sitting across from him in the classroom. He was captivating, curious, humble, and kind. He touched me with his gentle spirit, and what a blessing it was to watch him grow as he shared personal essays in the classroom setting. May he rest in everlasting peace! 

No matter how many times I ride the school bus, I will always think of Konstantinos. I met him in sixth grade one afternoon when no one would offer me a seat, except for him. I looked forward to every afternoon I would get to listen to his jokes, hear him talk about his strong Greek cats or anything for that matter.
Throughout high school I enjoyed passing by him in the hallways; he never failed to give a smile or a wave. Before cross country and track practice, Konstantinos would sometimes show up by mine and my friend's cars to wait for his little brother to get out of middle school. I looked forward to these afternoons as his bubbly energy and big smile could make any day just a little bit better. He always seemed to be happy and carefree. He always was asking how I was doing. Konstantinos was a genuine, kind-hearted soul,  and I know that out there somewhere he's beaming his big, bright smile.

No matter what he was doing, Konstantinos always exuded enthusiasm and energy. Whether he was bouncing through hallways, forcefully explaining physics concepts on a random whiteboard, making wisecracks, belting songs (i.e. “I Want It That Way”) or other exclamations for all the world to hear, gushing about a book or movie, or animatedly retelling a particularly interesting story during lunch, his passion for life was contagious. Being around him could make anything fun. He was also exceptionally caring. Though he was often joking around, he would be the first to check on someone to see if they were ok. He would constantly reach out and ask if people wanted to do things. He was always there as a source of light and zeal, ready to take on the world. If he could help you, he always would. 
Konstantinos, you truly were the best friend anyone could have. You were always there to make me laugh, and you made every day special. Thank you for being someone worth missing.

We enjoyed meeting Konstantinos freshman year as Liam was new to Brentwood High. Konstantinos was warm and friendly and obviously Liam felt acceptance and enjoyed his sense of humor and love of soccer. Our words cannot express our deep sympathy and love. We hope that in the coming days you feel peace when remembering your dear son.

From the very first moment I met him he was nothing but extremely kind to me. It has been an amazing time knowing him for the past four years and getting closer with him these last couple months. He never failed to make those around him smile and always was such a genuinely kind hearted person. He will be missed but the memory of him will never be gone <3

At Harper Thompson’s on New Years Eve, Konstantinos stayed after everyone had already left to help clean up everything. He was so kind-hearted and thoughtful and wanted to make sure he could help as much as possible so that we could all get some sleep. He was such a thoughtful person and always made everyone laugh.

Konstantino, you were always a strong presence in the room, with your bright eyes and your funny jokes. I will always remember lovingly our vacations with you, Myrsine and Achilleas, the card games, the loud but fun meals, the trips to the beach, the slumber parties of all the cousins, the big hugs you gave and the warmth you exuded. Your life was short but meaningful... Rest in peace our love!

I met Konstantinos at the Adventure Science Center. He was amazing, kind, and he knew (or at least knew how to act) what to do at the Tinkering Garage. He shared with my sister and I about his dog. The next time I saw him was when I was at a discovery cart, and he and his friend walked up and asked what I was doing. From those two interactions I knew he was kind, amazing, and awesome. This school year he was in my AP Chemistry Period 2 class. I still remember him and his friend trying to make the most basic substance during an Acid-Base titration. It's very unfortunate that he lost his life. He had an amazing future ahead of him. Rest in peace...

Konstantinos was a great Spanish student. He was always prompt to participate in class. I used to tell him that he had the gift of learning Spanish very quickly. I can still hear his voice and laugh in my classroom. His kindness and politness are the qualities I can think of every time I hear or pronounce his beautiful name. I will remember "mi estudiante Konstantinos" so precious, kind and gentle. I can still hear his voice saying "Hola Señora!" with a big smile walking down de hallway, at least two times a week. Konstantinos was a blessing to all of us. We all agree that we love the memories we have together with Konstantinos during our Spanish III Honors class 2020-2021. He made us smiled and laughed. I feel gratitud for the wonderful blessing of getting to know my student Konstantinos Kostoulas.
