

Kyle was the son of Stephen Dennis and Elaine (Wimsatt) Reed, husband of Tracy Reed, and father of Kayla (Jillian) Bouchard, Alivia Reed and James Reed, and grandfather of Brooks Alexander Bouchard and Ila Monroe Claire Alexander, and sibling of Kara (Brian) Weekley, Andrea Reed and Courtney (Justin) Scott, and uncle of Parker Weekley, Cooper Weekley, Jackson Scott and Maxwell Weekley.
Kyle served his country with distinction for twenty years, and was proud to be an infantryman and mortarman. His many decorations include Afghanistan Campaign Medal with 3 Campaign Stars, Bronze Star Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Valorous Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, NATO Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Air Assault Badge, Driver & Mechanic Badge, and Drill Sergeant Identification Badge.
Kyle was a lifelong fan of any and all sports programs of the Tennessee Volunteers, and found freedom on the faithful iron of his Harley Davidson. He was graduate of the Riverside Preparatory Academy, Class of 1994.
A visitation will be hosted by Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Saturday, June 6th at 12:30 CT followed by a service at 2:30 CT at 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204.
Military Funeral Honors will be held with the family at a later date at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Mountain Home, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to the Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition in honor of Kyle and his passion for the Afghan community or the Wounded Warrior Project.
