He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Edgar Vance and Hazel Garner Vance.
Surviving is his wife, Carol Vance of Nashville; brother, Dr. James E. Vance and his wife Sidney of North Palm Beach, FL; nephews, Kanen Clement and his wife, Millicent of Brentwood, TN and James E. Vance, Jr. and his wife, Dede of West Palm Beach, FL; and one niece, Lori Sullivan of Woodland Hills, CA.
A proud graduate of the University of Tennessee where he was and always will be a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. He was a retiree of Ford Glass Plant after 32 years.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Monday, December 23, 2019 from ten o’clock until twelve o’clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow at twelve o’clock in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville. Honorary Pallbearers include Patrick Micklewright, Jim Sledge, Frank Barrett, Richard Johnson and members of the Bellevue Exchange Club.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Larry’s honor to a charity of the donor’s choice.
